Carolina Machado received her PhD in Management Sciences (Organizational and Policies Management/ Human Resource Management) from the University of Minho in 1999, and Master’s in Management (Strategic Human Resource Management) from the Technical University of Lisbon in 1994. She has taught human resource management–related courses since 1989 at the University of Minho and in 2004 was promoted to Associated Professor.
