A Aperture priority mode, as indicated by some camera manufacturers.

additive primary colors The three colors red, blue, and green, which can be combined to create any other color. When superimposed on each other they produce white.

algorithm Mathematical procedure that allows the step-by-step solution of a problem.

aliasing The jagged appearance of diagonal lines in an image, caused by the square shape of pixels.

anti-aliasing The smoothing of jagged edges on diagonal lines created in an imaging program, by giving intermediate values to pixels between the steps.

aperture The opening behind your lens that allows light to pass through it and reach the sensor.
