2.4. TRANSITION

The e-learning industry's transition to the Internet hasn't been nearly as smooth or effective as that of the movie industry. One of the biggest issues is that, instead of embracing a new paradigm for distribution, we continue to think about design as we did in the PC era. If e-learning is going to make a truly effective transition to the Internet, we need to abandon legacy models. They were all designed around the PC model for distribution, communication, and way of doing business.
