Getting a Robust and Effective Social Media Measurement Program

I first met Don at an Institute for Public Relations Measurement Commission meeting in New York City. Interestingly, Don knew who I was (we had three Dons on the Commission back then out of about 12 active members) and immediately engaged me in a conversation about research, measurement, and where it was to lead public relations to. I listened as he began to explain where he thought measurement was headed and for my benefit, how we should be retraining our public relations students in measurement. We continued that discussion for many years.
