7.3 SUMMARY
Using the powertype-based metamodel of ISO/IEC 24744 described in Chapter 6, we have given indications as to how a full methodology can be created and how it can be readily enacted on a specific project within an organization. We have not attempted to delve into detail since the focus of our book is on metamodelling and its uses and not on method engineering. For an up-to-date overview of some of the research issues in situational method engineering, we recommend reading [12].
