6.10 SUMMARY
Based on the concepts discussed in earlier chapters, in this chapter we have described how metamodelling has been used in the construction of ISO/IEC 24744 (Software Engineering: Metamodel for Development Methodologies) [16]. In Chapter 7, we will see how this international standard is used for the construction of a specific methodology, following the tenets of situational method engineering (SME).
