Working on this book has meant a lot to each of us. In the Kinect, we see a wonderful device that can be used for creative expression. We also see a device and technology that is capable of changing the way we put technology to work in our daily lives. At first, the Kinect and its skeleton-tracking technology are all about games and cool art projects. But it doesn't end there. The underlying technology has profound implications on how people and technology interact.
