CHAPTER 21 Using Audio with Media Servers
Occasionally when programming with a media server you will be asked if the media server can output audio because the client would like to use a clip that also contains audio. This is not a difficult process for most media servers, but there are a few things to be familiar with when using a media server’s audio output.

Many media servers support audio output, and typically the server will be enabled or disabled via a channel within the DMX protocol, so it can easily be turned on or off for each clip as needed.
