Summary

This brings us to the end of a rather long chapter.

We learned to manipulate monetary data with JavaScript and Node.js and how to store it in MongoDB. We implemented a multiuser system in which users can easily register and sign in at any time.

We exposed most of our backend functionality through an API. We used a stateless authentication mechanism, granting access only by presenting a valid token.

In the next chapter, we are going to build a web page that is more public oriented, with different account types.
