15.2. Working with the Records Center

It will be easier to understand the different functions and features of the Records Center by actually working with it and setting the site up to manage content within SharePoint. The following set of exercises is designed to do just that. Since I previously mentioned how to allow the site collection document libraries to send content to the Records Center, Exercise 15.1 will show you how to do this.

Configuring a Records Center to Be an External Service Connection in Central Administration

  1. Launch the Central Administration web application, and click the Application Management tab.
