7.4. Working with Libraries

Libraries are the other major container of content in SharePoint 2007. As you read about earlier in this chapter, you can work with a number of different libraries; to start, we'll use the two most common libraries, document and picture. In Exercise 7.9, you'll work in the default Shared Documents library. The exercise assumes you'll be starting on the home page of the sample site we've been using in this chapter. You should also be connected to the SharePoint Server 2007 site from a computer that already has Microsoft Office Word documents available. You must also have Word installed on your computer if you plan to open and edit these documents.
