6.4. SharePoint 2007 Security Planning

Before we take on the nuts and bolts of configuring the SSO environment in SharePoint 2007, we'll cover a little more ground about general security, specifically, permissions. Some of this material might seem like it belongs in Chapter 5, "Managing Users and Groups," but it's important to remember that you can't separate security issues from people, and particularly from end users. Although the hacker outside your network is certainly a threat, your biggest security vulnerability comes from within.
