10.1. Document Management Overview

Document management is more than just administering how documents are created, uploaded, and secured in SharePoint. This dynamic flow controls the entire lifetime of any SharePoint document, regardless of its format. This process includes how documents are created, reviewed, published, accessed, retained, archived, and finally replaced or eliminated.
