Active Server Pages (ASP) Microsoft’s server-side script engine that generates dynamic web pages.
active/passive cluster A set of redundant servers that form a cluster. In an active/passive cluster, one node is actively performing the work and the other is waiting to take over the workload if the active node fails.

advanced fast start Similar to Fast Start except Windows Media Player begins playing the stream before its buffer is full.
