You would use Performance Monitor and network-related counters for monitoring counters that provide information on how a server’s network interface card is performing. Providing a simple interface for mail is the purpose of Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), not SNMP. Network Monitor, not SNMP, is used for viewing the content of network packets.
