Objective 4.4: Plan for N-Tier Deployment
While the deployment of a simple WPF application can be handled entirely by ClickOnce or Windows Installer, deploying an n-tier application (such as the three tier applications described in Objective 1.1: Design a Loosely Coupled Layered Architecture, in Chapter 1) can be significantly more complex. This objective domain covers how to overlay your logical application architecture onto a physical server topology and how to determine the proper installation sequence.
