4.10. Scaling an Enterprise with Application Virtualization

The inherent difficulty with virtualization isn't necessarily the virtualization itself. In fact, that's almost easy. The difficult part of virtualization is working within an organization to derive a deployment method that will scale with an organization, no matter how much it may grow or reduce in size as the business ebbs and flows with its success or reduction.

The key to this is to remember that no single virtualization strategy will work throughout the entire enterprise. At the most granular level, individual workstations may have to be addressed for individual purposes.
