- data collector set
A group of data collection points used to review or log the performance of a system. You can access several predefined data collector sets within the Reliability and Performance Monitor that can be used to easily measure the performance of your server. You can also create your own user-defined data collector sets.
- data recovery agent (DRA)
A designated person or account that can decrypt files encrypted with the encrypting file system (EFS). This is useful if the original owner's account is unavailable to decrypt the files.
- DCPromo
A program run to promote a server to a domain controller or run demotion operations. You run DCPromo from either the command line, the Run line, or the Start Search box.
