Planning the Deployment of Exchange Server 2007 Services

Implementing Autodiscover

Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 introduces Autodiscover, a new service that allows Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 to automatically discover the configuration information needed to successfully access Exchange Server 2007 features such as Offline Address Book, Unified Messaging, Out-of-Office, and Availability. The Autodiscover service also can provide the same functionality for supported mobile devices, but this depends on the mobile device operating system that you are using.
