How to Use This Book
This book is designed to help you build the skills you need to score well on the part of the ASVAB that is the most important—the AFQT or Armed Forces Qualifying Test. That test is the first hurdle you face in getting into the military. The AFQT is a subset of the ASVAB.
Your score on this test will make a huge difference in your military experience. First, if you don’t score well enough, you won’t be considered a viable candidate for enlistment. People with very low scores have no chance of getting into the military.
