Skill 43 Calculate the Probability of an Event

Probability is a way of calculating the likelihood that a certain event will happen. For instance, when you roll a six-sided die, a probability calculation will tell you how likely you are to roll a 6. Or suppose you have a jar containing four red marbles and six blue marbles. A probability calculation will tell you how likely you are to draw a red marble from the jar on your first try without looking. On the ASVAB, you may encounter questions that ask you to calculate a probability.
