Skill 42 Determining Change and Percent Change
On the ASVAB, you will probably encounter questions that ask you to find the percent something has changed from what it was before, or the actual amount something has changed if it has increased or decreased by a given percent. For example, you may be asked how much more money you will make if you receive a 7% salary increase, or what the new price of an item is after a 10% markdown from its original price.
The only difficulty with these problems is learning how to set them up correctly. Once you set them up, the calculations are easy.
