The latest standard for HTML Help is HTML Help 2. Currently, you can obtain HTML Help 2 tools as part of the Visual Studio .NET Help Integration Kit (VSHIK). The VSHIK is designed to build help files that are integrated into the Visual Studio .NET shell, but you can also use it to build standalone HTML Help 2 files for your own components. Figure 10.9 shows a typical HTML Help 2 file (in this case, a part of the help for the VSHIK itself).
