In this book, you learn how to build individual elements and assemble them into a photorealistic character. At its heart, the book teaches you how to capture an actor's performance and apply it to dynamically driven muscles and skin. We give you the steps to build your own personal motion-capture studio and describe methods for transferring the results onto a character's body and face. In addition, you're taught how to add hair, fur, and clothing to a character. When finished, you'll be able to create your own virtual character of any design.
