Facial Hair
Hair grows all over the body. It grows the heaviest and fullest on the head. The projects in this chapter deal with Maya Fur and how it pertains to Jack's facial hair: eyebrows, eyelashes, nose hair, beard, and mustache.
Facial hair tends to be thicker than head hair. This makes the hair less manageable, giving it strength to grow where it pleases. Almost all facial hair curls; the longer it gets, the more curl it takes on. Overall, it's richer in almost every attribute, including color (Figure 4.4).
