Project: Preparing the Scene

images Before starting the texturing process, review the scene file and its contents. Open the woman-start.ma scene file from the ProjectFiles/Project2 folder on the DVD.

Because the scene is designed for a still render, the character is only partially modeled. For example, the head ends behind the ears. The shoulders end below the camera view. The visible portion of the hair is represented by several isolated tufts. A primitive plane serves as a backdrop. The character model itself is constructed from multiple NURBS and polygon surfaces.
