Project: Creating the Final Render

In preparation for the final render, follow these guidelines:

  • Set the Keep Image Mode option, in the Render All Layers window, to Composite. Unless you plan to take the individual render layers into an external compositing program, there's no need to keep them for a final render. Along those lines, render the render layers only if they offer you some advantage. If you prefer to produce a final image without the Render Layer Editor applying its own compositing, render out the masterLayer by itself. You can choose whether a render layer renders by toggling its Renderable button on or off.
