What You'll Find on the DVD

You will find all the files for completing the tutorials and understanding concepts in this book in the ProjectFiles directory on the DVD. In addition, color versions of the chapter figures are located in the ColorFigures folder.

The project files are located in the following directory structure:

  • ProjectFiles\Projectn\: Maya scene files
  • ProjectFiles\Projectn\Textures\: Bitmap textures
  • ProjectFiles\Projectn\Reference\: Maya scene files and bitmap textures that serve as reference but are not mandatory for the success of each tutorial

When opening sample Maya scene files, you can avoid missing bitmap textures by first choosing File Project Set and browsing for the ProjectFiles/Projectn folder, where n is the project ...
