The Torso

The first object we will model is a mechanical larynx. You won't use any sketches or prescribed measurements for this or the upcoming elements, so let fantasy be your guide.

The Larynx

Create a cube and give it the parameters shown in Figure 5.1. You can then convert the cube. For the torso, I would like to use the same Symmetry object we used for the head—after all, the body is symmetrical there. So move to the symmetry axis the points that are on the right in the frontal view. You can do this most quickly and accurately using the Coordinate Manager.
