Creating a Simple Project
To start a new Maven project, use the Maven Archetype plugin from the command line:
$ mvn archetype:create -DgroupId=org.sonatype.mavenbook.ch03 \ -DartifactId=simple \ -DpackageName=org.sonatype.mavenbook [INFO] Scanning for projects...
