Ordinary and partial differential equation solvers

Differential equations play an important role in science and technology in general and in bioscience and bioengineering in particular. Many processes and phenomena in biokinetics, biomedicine, epidemiology, pharmacology, genetics and other life sciences can be described by such equations. They are often not solvable analytically, in which case a numerical approach is called for, but a universal numerical method does not exist.
