Chapter 10. Simulink® Basics

Learning Objectives

  • Introduction to Simulink® environment.

  • Create a model of a dynamic system in the Simulink window.

  • Simulate a dynamic system represented in block diagram form and observe the results of simulation.

  • Import/export data from/to Workspace and Simulink window.

  • Simulate a dynamic system represented in state-space form.

  • Simulate a non-linear dynamic system.

  • Obtain a state-space model from Simulink model using ‘linmod’ function.

  • Create sub-systems of Simulink model and mask it.
