A2.8. Comparing Multiple Models

Sometimes it is desired that response of two or more different models have to be compared such as in case of designing a compensator. This can be done by importing different models in the LTI Viewer. In Figure A2.16, two models, i.e. ‘sample1’ and ‘sample2’, created earlier are imported in the same LTI Viewer window and they are normalized using ‘normalize’ option from pop up menu which appears by right clicking on the figure. The rise time values are shown by selecting ‘rise time’ option from the same menu. Similarly, any kind of plot (i.e. impulse, bode, etc.) can be compared for these models.
