Overview

With this chapter, you leave the world of abstract mathematics and enter the world of physical objects, otherwise known as mechanics. However, this chapter depends on a few topics examined previously. In Chapter 5, for instance, you looked at some simple examples of vector motion. The concepts of velocity, speed, displacement, distance, and time were introduced. In this chapter, you will add the concept of acceleration.
