2A Golden Rectangle is a rectangle that has a very specific shape. In particular, it is not a square and if the rectangle is cut into a square and a smaller rectangle, the smaller rectangle still has the same shape as the larger one. The smaller rectangle is not as big as the original rectangle, but its dimensions still have the same ratio, which turns out to be image, a quantity known as the Golden Ratio.
