Chris Corbould has worked on such incredible effects as the tank chase in GoldenEye and the Batmobiles in The Dark Knight trilogy. However, his introduction to the world of effects was much more auspicious (although not short on exposure to film stars and celebrities). It began on Ken Russell’s 1975 film, Tommy, about a disabled boy who becomes a master pinball player.
