4.2. Using Edit Mode

To change, move, delete, or add a web part, you need to put the web part area of the page into Edit mode. There are two ways to do that, depending on whether you want to change the way you personally view the web parts on the home page (Personal version) or if you want to change the way everyone views the web parts on the home page (Shared version). Edit mode looks almost identical regardless of which version you are changing, so pay attention to which one you are editing by checking the information bar that occurs whenever you are in Edit mode. It will indicate what version of the page you are editing.
