When you look at a SharePoint site for the first time, you might think it looks like a normal website—and it is. The beauty of SharePoint is its simple usefulness as well as its versatility. At first glance, you can see many of SharePoint's standard features. Most of the attributes of a SharePoint web page are focused on ease of navigation and consistency of design. It may not be a blinking, glittering, extravaganza of art and animation, but it gets the job done.
