Environment variables

Another configuration you may find yourself needing to push out to client computers are Environment variables. Many applications utilize Environment variables in order to perform certain actions, and you can easily make use of Group Policy to put those variables into place. Once again, this preference is one that you can tag onto Computer Configuration, or User Configuration. Here are the locations inside GPME:

  • Computer Configuration | Preferences | Windows Settings | Environment
  • User Configuration | Preferences | Windows Settings | Environment
