In this chapter, we've learned why you would want to create dashboards; mainly to get all the other support teams off our backs. We learned how each of the widgets function, then how we can link them together to make a dashboard that is interactive based on selections made within widgets. We also unraveled the mystery of the metric configuration XML file and how to get the information we require into it.
In the next chapter, we will cover how we can use vRealize Operations to monitor applications and services within our environment.
