Actions are the new feature that first came out in vRealize Operations 6.0. An action provides a method for fixing the issue that you are trying to resolve. Only a single action can be assigned to a recommendation but this is completely optional:
Actions come from the following sources:
- Built into the product
- Installed management packs
The number of actions is fixed and additional ones cannot be created currently. The out-of-the-box actions offer simple actions to remediate some problems, for example, remove snapshot, add vCPU, add memory, and remove vCPU.
