Some ITSM solutions offer out-of-the-box plugins to integrate with vRealize Operations.
For example, ServiceNow offers integration to vRealize Operations through its Event Management plugin.
For this integration to work, you have to configure a Management, Instrumentation, and Discovery (MID) server in ServiceNow and connect it to a vRealize Operations instance to obtain event information. Events are collected from vRealize Operations using a pull operation. Events will start to be received from the vRealize Operations server according to the pull interval schedule.
