Summary

In this chapter, we covered a basic overview of the main elements of the UI system. It's a lot of information to digest at once; therefore, this chapter is really meant to be more of a reference chapter. We will be doing a lot with each of these types of UI element in nearly every subsequent chapter, so don't worry, you'll get a lot of practice!

  • Canvases
  • UI Text and Images
  • UI Layout and Rect Transform
  • UI Buttons

In the next chapter, we will build a conversation system. Be prepared for some heavy scripting!
