Ignore Layout

The Ignore Layout property can be used to have the object ignored by any automatic layout components of the parent object. A child with this property selected can be moved and resized freely, and all other children will be laid out without regard for the ignored child.

In the following example, the panel has a Horizontal Layout Group component and five child objects. The first child, labeled with a 1, has a Layout Element component with the Ignore Layout property selected:
