The Origins and Consequences of Turbulence

Chapter One provided you a rationale for why building adaptive capacity is essential for sustaining high performance as turbulence increases. We noted that our field research on several hundred organizations revealed how higher levels of agility and resiliency—both critical dimensions of adaptive capacity—are associated with higher organization competitiveness and profitability.
