1.9. Print Set (DPOF)
This feature allows you to connect your camera directly to a PictBridge compatible printer, or any device that supports the Digital Print Order Format (DPOF). You will be creating a "print order" that allows a connected PictBridge compatible printer, or service, to print only the images you have selected on your memory card via the PictBridge menu of the D300. This is not a difficult process to use, but quite complex to describe. In fact, it would almost take another entire chapter in this book to go over the nuances of PictBridge printing.
Since the D300 is aimed squarely at semi-pro and professional users, it is highly likely that few readers of this book will be interested in printing directly to PictBridge printers, ...
