JACKIE FENN is a Gartner Fellow at the IT industry research and advisory company Gartner, Inc., covering emerging technology trends and innovation management. She helps commercial and government organizations spot the trends and innovations that will make a difference to their business, and also guides them in setting up emerging technology groups and processes. Before joining Gartner, Jackie was a principal consultant at service provider Logica in the United Kingdom and the United States, working on knowledge-based systems, speech recognition, multimedia, and interactive television. Sheâs been a part of the IT industry for over twenty-five years as a practitioner and analyst. She lives in Massachusetts.
