MEASUREMENTS OF ELECTRICITY
Electricity is measured in watts (named after the Scottish mechanical engineer James Watt). Shown in Table 6.1 are the units in common usage.
Table 6.2 shows the approximate cost to generate power across a range of renewable energy sources.
