11.2. Running a Report

There are two ways to run a report. The first is to use the Configuration Manager administrator console and the second is to use the web-based Report Viewer. Depending on your preferences, you might choose to use the Configuration Manager console to run your reports. However, our preference is to run the reports from the admin console only if we are already in the console, and to use the web-based version otherwise, because it seems to be faster.

Note that you cannot create new reports within the web-based version; you must use the administrator console in order to create new reports.
