4.3. Installing and Configuring System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 1

System Center Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 was introduced six months after Configuration Manager 2007 was released in November 2007 so that the Configuration Manager product group could quickly integrate further innovations into the currently shipping product. They were able to introduce these innovations, as well as the foundational plumbing that is leveraged in Configuration Manager 2007 Release 2 (R2), because of the product's stability.

Configuration Manager 2007 Service Pack 1 introduces the following general features:

  • Support for agent-managed Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1

  • Support for agent-managed Microsoft Windows Server 2008 ...
